On April 6, news from the Office of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee said that Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Nguyet has just signed a document urging the progress of investment in the construction of an inter-level boarding school, which will be implemented from 2025 in the area.
Accordingly, Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee assigned the investor, the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Civil Works and Infrastructure in the province, to direct contractors to focus on mobilizing labor, machinery, and equipment, organizing simultaneous construction, increasing shifts, increasing crews, accelerating progress, and compensating for the slow progress.
Periodically, before 4 pm every Thursday, summarize the implementation situation, project progress, and arising difficulties and obstacles (if any) to send to the Department of Construction for monitoring, summarizing, and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee", according to the direction of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee.
Assign the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to monitor, direct, and drastically urge investors to implement projects according to the agreed schedule. Periodically, before 9 am every Friday, summarize and report to the Provincial People's Committee on the situation and progress of project implementation; promptly advise on handling arising difficulties and obstacles.
Previously, on November 9, 2025, in Ha Tinh, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for 2 inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in Huong Khe and Son Kim 1 communes.
These 2 schools have a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND. In which, Son Kim 1 Inter-level Boarding Primary School - Secondary School is implemented in Trung village, Son Kim 1 commune on an area of more than 5 hectares with a scale of 40 classrooms for more than 1,300 students with a construction cost of about 140 billion VND.
Huong Khe Inter-level Boarding Primary - Secondary School is built in Phu Gia village, Huong Khe commune on an area of more than 5 hectares, with a construction cost of about 160 billion VND.
According to the handover schedule, the main items of the above 2 schools must be completed before July 15, 2026, complete the entire project, acceptance and handover for use before August 15, 2026 to be in time for the new school year 2026-2027.
Along with many provinces across the country, on the morning of March 19, 2026, 5 inter-level boarding primary and secondary school projects simultaneously started construction in Ha Tinh in land border communes, including: Son Kim 2, Son Hong, Vu Quang, Huong Xuan and Huong Binh. The total investment of the projects is about 945.6 billion VND.
