On March 10, the inspection and supervision delegation for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, led by Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Member of the National Election Council, Head of the Sub-committee for Ensuring Security, Order and Social Safety under the National Election Council - inspected and worked with the Po Luong Commune Election Committee on election preparations.

Participating in the working delegation were representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, and branches; leaders of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments, agencies, and branches of the province.
Reporting at the working session, Mr. Tran Duy Tien - Chairman of Pu Luong Commune People's Committee - said that so far the preparation for organizing elections in the area has been seriously, synchronously, on schedule and in accordance with the law.
The work of establishing organizations in charge of elections, compiling voter lists, preparing facilities at polling stations as well as propaganda about the election has been fully implemented, closely following regulations. Election service forces have been assigned specific tasks, and have been gradually trained in professional skills to ensure readiness for election day.

According to local leaders, Pu Luong commune is an area with developed community tourism activities, regularly welcoming domestic and foreign tourists to visit and stay. Therefore, ensuring security and order at polling stations is identified by the locality as an important task in the process of preparing for elections.
Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness of Thanh Hoa province as well as Pu Luong commune in preparing conditions to serve the election.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels is an important political task, so localities must absolutely not be subjective in any stage.

All work must be prepared carefully and thoroughly, ensuring the correct process and progress so that the election day truly becomes a festival for the whole people," Mr. Tran Quang Phuong emphasized.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested Pu Luong commune to continue to fully grasp the guiding documents of the Central Government and the province; and at the same time proactively develop contingency plans for situations that may arise during the election organization process.
Along with that, there needs to be a specific guide so that voters can clearly recognize the ballot boxes for National Assembly deputies and the ballot boxes for People's Council deputies at all levels, avoiding confusion when exercising voting rights.
The service force needs to proactively guide voters to vote in accordance with regulations; and at the same time have plans to support the elderly and people with disabilities to participate in voting conveniently.
Regarding the management of voter lists, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested localities to regularly review and update promptly to avoid errors. Complaints and denunciations related to elections must be received and resolved in accordance with the law, ensuring publicity and transparency.
Security, health, fire prevention and fighting and traffic safety assurance plans must also be fully prepared, ready to respond to arising situations, ensuring that the election takes place safely and in accordance with regulations.
Previously, the working delegation also came to inspect the actual arrangement of facilities, information posting areas, ballot boxes and conditions to serve voters at Polling Point No. 10, Tan Thanh village, Pu Luong commune.
The delegation also inspected the operation of the voting procedure model, and assumed some possible situations to assess the handling capacity of the forces participating in serving the election.
