On May 28, information from the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh said that after completing the work of enrolling 6-year-old children in grade 1 before June 15, 2025, primary schools in Ha Tinh simultaneously organized talks and consultations for parents whose children were preparing to enter grade 1.
This is an activity carried out under the direction of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh, to equip parents with the necessary psychology and information in the first stage of their children's transfer.
At the seminar, the schools introduced an overview of the school, the teaching staff, teaching conditions and efforts to ensure the quality of first-grade education. At the same time, parents are also allowed to disseminate regulations on extra teaching and learning according to current documents, especially note: do not organize extra teaching for primary school students, including primary school fees, except for activities related to arts, sports, and life skills.
Primary schools also promote the harmful effects of teaching before grade 1, encouraging parents not to put pressure on children to study. To support the transfer process, the Ministry of Education and Training has stipulated that each school organizes at least 1 week of introducing first-grade students to create an enthusiastic spirit, helping children adapt to the new learning environment.
In addition, parents are given specific instructions on choosing textbooks, learning materials, necessary equipment as well as shared plans, borrowing books for first graders to save costs.
Sharing at the program, Mr. Phan Duy Nghia - Deputy Head of the General Education Department, Ha Tinh Department of Education and Training emphasized: "Many parents are worried about not knowing what to prepare for their children when they enter grade 1. Organizing the seminar not only relieve the psychology of parents but also helps them properly accompany the school and children."
Mr. Nghia also gave advice: "Please parents be patient, do not put the burden of learning first on the children's shoulders. Let's make every day at school a happy day, because first graders need the most positive emotions, not the pages of textbooks first."
