Candidate D. T. T asked: In case you have submitted a foreign language certificate (such as IELTS) to the Ministry of Education and Training's admission portal, but then continue to take the exam and get a new certificate, will it be updated to the system?
The Ministry of Education and Training answers this issue on the Government Electronic Information Portal as follows:
Candidates are responsible for fully and promptly updating information and evidence for admission consideration, including new foreign language certificates.

Based on point b, clause 1, Article 18 of the Regulation issued together with Circular No. 06/2026/TT-BGDĐT of the Minister of Education and Training:
Candidates ... provide complete information, take responsibility for the accuracy of all registration information... the authenticity of proof documents".
In addition, the registration and adjustment of admission information is carried out according to the general enrollment plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, in which the system allows candidates to update data in certain periods of time.
Based on Clause 2, Article 14 of Circular No. 06/2026/TT-BGDDT: "Candidates ... register for admission on the System ... according to the general plan and guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training annually".
Therefore, candidates can update new foreign language certificates (e.g. IELTS) on the system.
This update must be carried out during adjustments and supplements to information according to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training. After the data closing time for admission, the system will not accept changes.
