On September 7, Mr. Nguyen Kien Huyen - Principal of Thuan An Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Lam Dong) said that the school had organized the first meal for more than 860 students.
Although it was the first day of operating the kitchen with a large number of students, they lined up orderly to receive lunch. The menu included rice, vegetables, savory dishes and dessert.
According to Mr. Nguyen Kien Huyen, meals are provided by facilities specializing in serving school meals, meeting the needs of serving hundreds of students at the same time.
In the 2026 - 2027 school year, Thuan An Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School has 30 classes with 869 students, including 393 boarding students and 476 semi-boarding students at noon.
The whole school has more than 350 students who are children of ethnic minorities such as M'Nong, Tay, Nung, Muong, Khmer, Ede, Thai, Dao...
The school pays special attention to the quality of meals, nutrition and food safety; implementing input material management, processing, portion distribution, quantification, inspection, sampling and meal monitoring according to regulations" - Mr. Nguyen Kien Huyen said.
