On the morning of November 20, Hanoi National University of Education held a meeting to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.
At the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - the school's principal, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the teachers - those who do not mind the difficulties and hardships, dedicating themselves to the cause of educating people, the cause of building and developing the future generations of the country.
As the head of the school that trains future generations of teachers, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son expressed his gratitude to the previous generation of teachers.
"I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers who taught and guided us with each letter and stroke from the first days of school, the teachers who nurtured our intelligence, so that we could practice our profession and become teachers later on" - Mr. Son was moved.
Quoting the proverb “Under the sun, there is no profession more noble than teaching”, the Principal of the Pedagogical College said that honoring the teaching profession does not mean elevating our profession over other professions.
"Honoring the teaching profession to see that our responsibility is great, our work is meaningful. Honoring it to have more strength and belief in beautiful things, to be persistent and steadfast in the job, to overcome challenges and hardships of life, to stick with and love the job" - Mr. Son said and believed that the teaching profession gives teachers wonderful experiences that few other professions have. That is a moment filled with joy and happiness when students succeed, overcome difficulties to become successful, become good people and at that time, every teacher proudly boasts that "those are our students".
Sending a message to students - the future generation of teachers of the country, Mr. Son said that on the path of teaching, teachers also need students. Students are an indispensable half of a teacher. It is the students who contribute to fostering enthusiasm, adding strength, compassion, and love for the profession for teachers.
"With compassion, no matter what you do, add that spice to your work. That is probably the identity of Hanoi National University of Education" - Mr. Son advised.
Nguyen Tong Hieu Thuong, a student of class K37, Faculty of Biology, representing the entire school, expressed her luck to be a part of Hanoi National University of Education.
"Teachers are shining examples of teacher ethics, teaching us what it means to love our profession and the true value of the profession. We understand that the value of the teaching profession is to inspire, arouse the spirit of learning, lead generations of students to humanistic values, and become the best version of themselves" - Hieu Thuong shared.
Also at the ceremony, Hanoi National University of Education honored people's teachers, excellent teachers; awarded commemorative medals for the cause of education and awards for outstanding lecturers, outstanding administrative staff...
