November 20th of every year has gone down in Vietnamese history as the day when the whole society shows gratitude and honors the teaching profession and those who care for the cause of education and training.
Mr. Pham Nhu Hung - Principal of Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Hanoi) shared that on this year's Vietnamese Teachers' Day, in addition to the precious feelings of many generations of students and parents, the special gift for the school community is educational equipment, smart laptops from Vietnam Educational Equipment Investment - Publishing Joint Stock Company (VEPIC) - the unit that organizes, compiles, and jointly publishes the Canh Dieu Book Series.
"This gift is truly valuable and extremely practical, helping teachers use it in their teaching. The school has been using the Canh Dieu Textbook Set for 3 years now and we have seen that there is a connection and support between the school and the publishing unit to best complete the teaching program" - commented Mr. Hung.
Not only Huynh Thuc Khang High School, on this occasion, many schools in Hanoi also received meaningful and practical gifts from Canh Dieu Textbook Publishing Unit such as: Thang Long Primary School, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School; Tay Ho High School, Dong Do High School, Tran Phu High School (Ba Vi); Ngo Quyen High School (Dong Anh)...
According to the unit representative, the gratitude activity of giving gifts of educational equipment and smart laptops is expected to take place in parallel with many other activities such as gratitude to teachers who use Canh Dieu textbooks and win provincial/city awards in school years; Charity programs: Journey of giving books - Wings of dreams; Green library; annual specialized training courses... to accompany teachers and students who have been using Canh Dieu books.
According to statistics, from August 6, 2024 to September 6, 2024, VEPIC has donated nearly 300,000 books, more than 8,000 sets of teaching equipment and 142 65-inch smart TVs with a total value of nearly 12 billion VND to nearly 400 school libraries nationwide.
The gift, though small, represents the dedication and efforts of the team of more than 300 authors of the Canh Dieu book series, and the mutual love of VEPIC Company. Through this, we hope that the Canh Dieu books in the library and the smart learning devices will carry the hope of sowing seeds and empowering generations of students to fly high and far in the future.
