The 2026-2027 school year marks a new milestone for Muong Hoa Kindergarten, Muong Hoa commune, Phu Tho province. This is the first school year the school operates after merging 3 kindergartens in the area.
According to Ms. Bui Thi Nuc, Principal of Muong Hoa Kindergarten, the school was established under Decision No. 643/QD-UBND dated August 24, 2026.
The school was formed on the basis of merging Phu Vinh Kindergarten, Trung Hoa Kindergarten and Ngoi Hoa Kindergarten.
The head office is located in Muong Day village. The school has 1 branch in Muong Ngau village and 3 school sites in Suoi Hoa, Trung Hoa, and Ngoi Hoa villages.
“This school year's opening ceremony is of special significance to officials, teachers and children. This is not only the opening day of a new school year but also the first milestone of a new school after the merger,” Ms. Bui Thi Nuc shared.
After arrangement, Muong Hoa Kindergarten has 20 groups and classes with 408 students. The staff includes 60 officials, teachers, and staff. Including 3 management officials, 52 teachers, 3 staff and 2 contract staff.
According to Principal Bui Thi Nuc, the merger of educational institutions sets out the requirement to both stabilize the organization and ensure that all activities of caring for, nurturing and educating children take place continuously.
The school currently has full classrooms, administration buildings, music rooms, libraries, and physical education rooms. The playground is equipped with outdoor equipment and toys, creating space for children to play and exercise.
One of the top priorities of the school is to ensure the rights of all students. Children are treated fairly, study the preschool education program of the Ministry of Education and Training, and at the same time enjoy full regimes and policies according to regulations.

In the 2026-2027 school year, the school strives to maintain a full enrollment of children, organize semi-boarding for 100% of students. The school also sets a target to reduce the rate of underweight and stunted malnutrition to below 5%.
Along with fully implementing the program for each age group, experience areas will be built to give children more space to explore, exercise and participate in active activities.
According to information from Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, the whole province has reduced the number of educational institutions from 1,861 to 655, a decrease of 1,206 institutions, equivalent to 64.8%.
In which, 139 kindergartens have a scale of less than 9 classes; 19 primary schools have a scale of less than 10 classes; 12 secondary schools have a scale of less than 8 classes. Most of these facilities are merged together to form new facilities with larger scale.
For educational institutions directly under the Department of Education and Training, the high school level is reduced from 100 schools to 91 schools; the continuing education-vocational education block is reduced from 33 centers to 23 centers; the vocational education block is reduced from 10 units to 5 units.
For principals of schools under the Department of Education and Training, there are 16 people continuing to hold positions, 9 people arranged as vice principals, 4 people arranged as teachers, 1 person retired early according to Decree 154/2025/ND-CP. For vice principals, there are 24 people continuing to hold positions, 38 people arranged as teachers.
