On October 26, the International Training Institute and the Academy of Finance held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year. The joint training program, each party grants 1 bachelor's degree (DDP).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu - President of the Academy of Finance said that in order to study and practice well at university level, each student needs to determine the right motivation for studying, avoiding the mindset of studying only to get a degree.
"Knowledge has no limits and learning does not stop at getting a degree. Therefore, the time spent studying at university must be a time to cultivate virtue, train talent, and prepare carefully for the future. Each student needs to be responsible for themselves, actively learn to improve their abilities, skills, and form the ability to self-study throughout the career path they choose" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu advised new students.
On the school's side, the Vice President of the Academy of Finance pledged to create the best learning conditions for students, create a launching pad, and turn students' ideas and projects into reality.
Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen - Director of Institute of International Training - Academy of Finance and Information, in the 2024-2025 school year, the Institute will enroll students in 5 ways. There are 112 students admitted and enrolled; of which 35% are male, 65% are female and come from 23 provinces and cities across the country.
Also at the ceremony, the institute awarded 3 top entrance scholarships and rewarded 5 students with the highest IELTS scores (from 7.0 - 7.5).
Nguyen Hoang Ha Phuong - one of the valedictorians of the International Training Institute this year shared that this is an encouragement to help her try harder in the following years of study.
"I hope that 4 years of university will be an opportunity for me to study and practice my professional skills as well as foreign language ability" - Ha Phuong shared.
