The 2025 Can Tho City-level Robot Competition attracted 122 students (from 7 to 15 years old) to participate, who are STEM enthusiasts, programming and robot lovers, studying at schools and centers in the city. Candidates are divided into 3 levels, including Pre-level (54 students), Intermediate (56 students) and High School (12 students).

Through the preliminary rounds, 60 excellent teams have entered the final round. The teams competed directly in groups of 2 to 4 contestants, applying STEM Robotics knowledge and skills to program and control robots to optimize the completion of tasks according to the theme's requirements.
The theme erra Protocol (Earthen Protocol) - Technology for a Sustainable planet has set a prospect where humanity is forced to apply advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, blockchain... to build a balanced world, sustainable development and adaptation to climate change. This is not only a programming challenge but also a reminder of the global responsibility of the younger generation.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tang - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Can Tho City - emphasized that the contest is organized to create a playground for students to explore and nurture their passion for STEM Robotics, demonstrate their abilities and exchange. Connecting students with a modern world, thereby recognizing responsibility towards the local and global community.
According to the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, the contest gradually equips students with integrated skills in the field of STEM, including programming thinking, problem-solving skills, and readiness to meet the global capacity of citizens in the digital age.
This is a contest jointly organized by the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, Milestones International Education - Technology Joint Stock Company ( Milestones International Education System) and Education and Times Newspaper.

Ms. Vo Thi Hien - General Director of Milestones International Education System - said that the contest is one of the key annual STEM activities, not only helping students experience, exchange and learn, but also an opportunity to select outstanding faces to represent Can Tho City to participate in the National and International Robothon Contest 2025.
Through the contest, we hope to contribute to improving the quality of STEM education in the locality and region, promoting the movement of learning, research and application of science and technology in the younger generation, Ms. Hien hopes.
The teams that win First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes at the city-level competition will participate in the National Robothon Competition held on October 19, 2025. In particular, the best teams will be selected to participate in the International Robothon Competition on November 23, 2025 in Jakarta (Indonesia).
