On March 24, at Hai Khe Primary and Secondary School (Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province), the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union Council and the school held a ceremony to award certificates of merit to Le Thanh Tinh and Tran Thi Linh Dan (km4B students).
2 students were awarded certificates of merit for their achievement of "Picking up lost property and returning it to the owner".
Before that, the two students had picked up two yellow rings, so they asked their parents to take them to the Hai Khe Commune Police (Hai Lang District).
Through inspection, it was determined that the two gold rings were worth 10 taels of gold (one tael of gold). The police have clarified that the gold was the property of Mr. Truong Van Sung (born in 1991, from Tham Khe village, Hai Khe commune, currently residing in Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province) who dropped it, so they returned it to Mr. Sung.
In response to Tinh and Linh Dan's honest actions, the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union Council and Hai Khe Primary and Secondary School awarded certificates of merit to the two students. At the award ceremony, teachers and students in the school all expressed their pride in the beautiful actions of Le Thanh Tinh and Tran Thi Linh Dan.
