On June 9, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Da Nang City issued a document guiding the Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns and principals of schools on receiving students transferred from Quang Nam province to enrollment after the process of arranging administrative units.
Accordingly, primary, secondary and high schools in the city are required to proactively receive students from Quang Nam, especially children of cadres, civil servants and public employees who are mobilized and rotated after the merger. The reception must ensure publicity, transparency, compliance with procedures and suitability with the conditions of facilities and teaching staff at each school.
The Department of Education and Training also noted that schools should prioritize arranging students to attend classes at facilities near their residence or workplace to facilitate daily activities. Absolutely do not refuse to accept students under the direction of the City People's Committee.
Regarding the application, the school only needs to receive printed electronic records from the management software of the school where the student is transferred, with full information and the principal's signature, without requiring additional signatures from the department teacher. In case information needs to be verified, the school can proactively contact the old unit via email or the e-government system.
Schools need to compile and report on the situation of receiving students before July 31, 2025. The Department of Education and Training recommends that units seriously implement to ensure the learning rights of students during the administrative merger period.
