Similarly, Nguyen Khanh Vy, a 9th grade student in District 1, is also speeding up her review. In addition to main school, female students have registered to participate in extra classes at the center in all 3 subjects: Math, Literature and English.

Mr. Cao Duc Khoa - Principal of Huynh Khuong Ninh Secondary School (District 1) said that at this time, the school has completed the information checking work, and it is expected that this week, there will be a parent meeting, in which it will continue to provide detailed consultation on how to register and make wishes.
"According to the announced targets, the enrollment rate this year is higher than last year, which means the admission of students to public schools will be higher. However, that does not mean that students and parents can be subjective," said Mr. Khoa.
Regarding review work, he said that because the end of the school year is close to the exam, the school does not organize separate review classes for each subject in the 10th grade entrance exam. Instead, in the teaching process, the school's policy is to review as much as possible to help students grasp knowledge, while avoiding pressure with a tight study schedule.
"This year, students will take the exam according to the new education program, so the exam will have many changes. However, they should not be too pressured or worried. Avoid affecting your health," Mr. Khoa shared.
Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the enrollment target for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year of 115 public high schools. Accordingly, the total target for 10th grade admission this year in the city is 70,070 students, reaching a rate of 79% compared to the number of students expected to graduate from secondary school of about 88,000.
