People's Police Academy announces enrollment of 100 undergraduate training quotas for second degrees newly recruited for the 2026–2027 academic year.
In which, the Academy enrolls 90 quotas for men and 10 quotas for women (method 1 enrolls 50 quotas, method 2: 50 quotas).
Candidates registering for the exam, in addition to ensuring the conditions according to the provisions of law and the Ministry of Education and Training, must meet the following conditions:
Education level: Graduation from university in formal form issued by a higher education institution in Vietnam or abroad, ranking degree from good or higher (no enrollment for university articulation level).
Candidates graduating from engineering, natural sciences, computer science, and information technology majors. Conditions: Graded diploma from average or higher, in which the average score of the graduation exam subjects or the average score of professional modules is good or higher, or the results of the graduation thesis (or graduation project or internship report) are ranked as achieving or higher.
In-service police officers with a working period of 15 months or more up to the entrance exam month, with a regular university degree ranked from average or higher.
Applicants are not over 30 years old (determined according to the birth certificate, calculated to the exam date, including cases of direct admission registration).
Political standards, health standards: Applied as for enrollment (new recruitment) of general education students into CAND schools in 2026. In which, height reaches from 1m64 to 1m95 for men, reaches from 1m58 to 1m80 for women, in case of ethnic minorities or graduates from natural sciences, engineering, computer science, information technology, height reaches from 1m62 to 1m95 for men, reaches from 1m56 to 1m80 for women;
Citizens who are ethnic minorities with permanent residence during their high school or intermediate school years over 18 months in Area 1, height reaching from 1m60 to 1m95 for men, reaching from 1m55 to 1m80 for women; body mass index (BMI) is calculated by weight (unit: kilograms) divided by the square of height (unit: meters) reaching from 18.5 to 30;
Vision without glasses for each eye reaches 09-10/10, total vision for both eyes reaches 18/10. If the eye has refractive errors: nearsightedness, farsightedness, it is no more than 3 dioptries, if astigmatism, it is physiological astigmatism or each eye is less than 01 dioptries, checking the vision of one eye through glasses reaches 09/10, total vision for both eyes reaches 19/10 or higher.
The Academy uses 2 enrollment methods: direct admission and entrance exams.
Subjects and conditions for admission according to direct admission method: Candidates who are children of police officers with excellent university degrees; Candidates who graduated with excellent and excellent university degrees in some majors and specializations in the fields of: Science and Technology, Technology, Artificial Intelligence (graduated with field codes 748, 751, 752).
Candidates graduating from university with excellent and excellent grades and having an international foreign language certificate equivalent to IELTS (Academic) reach 6.5 or higher (specifically, the biological child of a police officer IELTS (Academic) reaches 6.0 or higher).
Candidates graduating from university with good grades and having an international foreign language certificate equivalent to IELTS (Academic) reaching 7.0 or higher (specifically, the biological child of a police officer IELTS (Academic) reaches 6.5 or higher).
Candidates graduating from universities with good grades in Information Technology majors/major groups (graduating from major group code 74802) and having an international foreign language certificate equivalent to IELTS (Academic) reaching 6.5 or higher (specifically, the biological child of a Public Security officer IELTS (Academic) reaches 6.0 or higher).
Foreign language certificate conversion table, the Academy will update after having specific instructions from the Ministry of Public Security.
Candidates applying for Form 1 (direct admission) are allowed to register for Form 2.
With method 2 of the entrance exam, candidates participate in the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test. Exam time: 150 minutes, including essay part and multiple-choice part.
The exam date is September 20, 2026. Exam format: computer exam. Total exam score is 100 points.
Candidates complete the application dossier and submit the application dossier according to the instructions of the police unit, locality where the preliminary selection is conducted (ward and commune police where the permanent residence registration is registered).
