The Military Medical Academy on January 28th announced the enrollment information for 2026.
For military enrollment, the quota is according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense, divided by region and gender (10% female). Majors and enrollment subjects are as follows:
Medicine (7720101): Combination A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology); D07 (Math, Chemistry, English);
University Pharmacist (7720201); A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); D07 (Math, Chemistry, English);
For civil enrollment, the academy plans to enroll about 250 targets with the following majors:
Medicine (7720101): Combination A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology); D07 (Math, Chemistry, English).
University Pharmacist (7720201); A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); D07 (Math, Chemistry, English).
Recruit male and female candidates nationwide, inside and outside the Army; through preliminary selection, meeting the standards according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Education and Training.
Preliminary selection for candidates registering for the Military system
Candidates registering for the Military system must pass preliminary selection, meet the standards according to the regulations of the BQP (health and politics), and register for nguyen vong 1 (highest nguyen vong) into a Military school right from the time of applying for preliminary selection.
Candidates register to prepare preliminary selection dossiers and submit them to the Military Command of the district/town/town where they reside.
In addition, candidates need to meet health standards.
Male candidates must be 1.63m tall or taller; weigh 50kg or more.
Female candidates must be 1.54m tall or taller; weigh 48kg or more.
Candidates (both male and female) with nearsighted refractive errors did not pass 3D, visual test through glasses achieved right eye 10/10, total vision of both eyes reached 19/10.
The height and weight standards are lower for candidates in region 1, islands, ethnic minorities; ethnic groups with very few people.
Admission method
In 2026, the Military Medical Academy will conduct admissions according to 4 methods:
Direct admission, priority admission (Military system does not exceed 50% of the quota);
Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University Hanoi and Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City;
Admission based on high school exam results;
Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by the Ministry of National Defense (for candidates registering for the military system who have registered for preliminary selection).
