In the afternoon of January 30, in Nga Son commune, Thanh Hoa province, the Military Medical Academy organized a propaganda and career guidance program for military enrollment for more than 1,200 students from high schools in the area (Ba Dinh High School, Nga Son High School, Mai Anh Tuan High School).
Speaking at the program, Lieutenant General, Professor, Doctor Tran Viet Tien, Director of the Military Medical Academy, introduced and summarized the history, heroic traditions, and development of the Military Medical Academy - a unit three times Hero of the People's Armed Forces and the path to becoming a military doctor.
The Director of the Military Medical Academy wished the students to choose suitable aspirations and be admitted to the school according to their aspirations in the 2026 enrollment season.
One of the most touching contents of the ceremony was that alumni of Ba Dinh High School who are currently working and studying at the Military Medical Academy shared their feelings, hoping to inspire students to strive to participate in the enrollment into the Military Medical Academy, so that they can realize their dream of becoming future military doctors, serving the army and people.

Representatives of the Military Medical Academy announced the content of military enrollment in 2026, according to the quotas prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense, divided by region and gender (10% female); preliminary selection for candidates registering for the military system with requirements meeting the standards according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense (health and politics), registering for nguyện vọng 1 (highest nguyện vọng) and a military school right from the time of making preliminary application documents. Candidates register to make preliminary application documents and submit them to the Military Command of the commune/ward where they reside.
Candidates can adjust their aspirations according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. For the military system, only candidates who have passed preliminary selection and meet the standards according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense are considered for admission; suitable admission combinations; register for aspiration 1 (highest aspiration).
For the civilian system, register for admission according to a suitable admission combination, implement admission like other civilian schools.
Admission based on 4 methods
Regarding the admission method, representatives of the Academy said that admission will be conducted according to 4 methods: Direct admission, priority admission (female military system not exceeding 50% of the quota); admission from the competency assessment exam results of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; admission based on high school exam results; admission from the competency assessment exam results organized by the Ministry of National Defense (for candidates registering for military system admission with preliminary selection registration).
Also at the program, officials of the Military Medical Academy specifically disseminated information about subjects, areas, enrollment standards; registration procedures for admission, application documents for admission; preliminary selection work in communes, districts, units; registration aspirations, rights and obligations of admitted candidates; content, time, training programs, output standards, job positions after graduation...

In the Q&A session, high school students asked questions about the work of reviewing political backgrounds, regimes for students, benchmark scores for years, health conditions, participation in extracurricular activities during study; preferential regimes, positions after graduation...
Officers of the Military Medical Academy have explained, guided directly, and propagated through video and direct leaflets to students. During the propaganda process, enrollment officers also interacted and exchanged with students, promptly shared and oriented their thoughts, and well resolved problems related to the school's enrollment work.

According to the Organizing Committee, through the career guidance and admission counseling program for military recruitment, students can better understand the traditions and admission and training work of the Military Medical Academy.
