Yen Bai - 1,564,953 kg of rice will be supported for students in the province in the first semester of 2024 - 2025.

Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1853/QD-UBND on allocating 1,564,953 kg of rice to support students in the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, Mu Cang Chai district 744,973kg, Tram Tau district 368,066.5kg, Van Chan district 204,037kg, Tran Yen district 1,680kg, Van Yen district 148,855kg, Nghia Lo town 6,150kg, Luc Yen district 77,076.5kg, Yen Binh district 13,515kg, Yen Bai city 600kg.

Rice delivery time is completed before October 30, 2024.

Based on the allocated rice, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to preside over and develop a specific schedule, act as the focal point to coordinate with the State Reserve Department of Vinh Phu region to organize the delivery, receipt and distribution of rice to localities to ensure compliance with standards, norms and current regulations.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are responsible for receiving rice support from the district, town and city centers and transferring it to the facilities and distributing rice to supported students in a timely manner and to the correct subjects as prescribed.

At the same time, check the quantity and quality of rice before receiving it; take samples, seal samples, arrange a gathering location to ensure the requirements for distributing rice to each educational institution.

Direct educational institutions to open accounting books to record and fully reflect the situation and results of receiving rice quantity and quality according to the instructions of the Department of Finance; report to the Department of Education and Training, Department of Finance to synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Finance according to regulations.
