HUE - Hue has students off from school from October 22 to prevent storm No. 12, ensuring safety for teachers and students.

At noon on October 22, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Hue City issued an official dispatch on letting students stay home from school to avoid the impact of storm No. 12.

Following the direction of the Hue City People's Committee, the Department of Education and Training announced that all schools and educational institutions in the city will be off school from the afternoon of October 22 (Wednesday) and October 23 (Thursday), to ensure the safety of teachers and students and limit damage caused by the storm.

On the morning of October 22, some flooded localities proactively let students stay home from school.

On the evening of October 21, the Department of Education and Training issued a document requesting units to continue to seriously implement storm and flood prevention and control work according to instructions; strengthen measures to protect assets, teaching equipment, and books to proactively respond to storm No. 12.
