The 2026 high school graduation exam recorded outstanding results of the Hung Yen Education sector when the locality achieved an average score of 5.72 points in all subjects, ranking 9th nationwide out of 34 provinces and cities.
According to statistics from the Hung Yen Department of Education and Training, the whole province has 405 exam papers achieving perfect scores of 10. In Math alone, there are 286 exam papers achieving perfect scores, ranking 5th in the country in terms of the number of perfect scores and also ranked 5th in average Math scores with 5.988 points, after Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi City and Hai Phong City.
In addition to Mathematics, Hung Yen is also in the top 10 in the country in terms of number of 10s in Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography and Economic and Law Education. In terms of average scores, Technology - Agriculture subject reached 7,307 points, ranking 5th nationwide; Informatics subject reached 6,398 points, ranking 7th.
In the group of candidates with the highest total scores in the province, Dao Tung Duong, a 12M student at Van Giang High School, became the valedictorian of the province with 38 points in 4 graduation exam subjects. In which, he achieved 10 points in Math, 9.75 points in Physics, 9.25 points in Chemistry and 9 points in Literature.
Next are two students Pham Ba Tu (Nguyen Du High School) and Pham Viet Trinh (Tay Tien Hai High School) both achieving 37.75 points.
Notably, the leader of Hung Yen Department of Education and Training said that the province has 1 national valedictorian in the A01 combination (Math - Physics - English).
Accordingly, Hoang Quang Minh, a student of class 12A1, An Thi High School, achieved a total score of 29.75, including 10 points in Math, 10 points in Physics and 9.75 points in English, becoming the national valedictorian of the A01 combination.
According to a representative of the Hung Yen Department of Education and Training, Hoang Quang Minh is a student with outstanding academic achievements, maintaining excellent performance throughout high school. Previously, at the 10th grade entrance exam, he achieved a score of 10 in both Math and combined subjects, and was also the valedictorian of the entrance exam of An Thi High School.
During his studies, Minh continuously achieved high results in excellent student exams: second prize at the provincial level in Informatics in grade 10, second prize at the provincial level in Physics in grade 11 and third prize at the provincial level in Mathematics in grade 12. In addition, he is also in the top 3 nationwide in the 2nd phase of the Thinking Assessment Test (TSA) and owns an IELTS 8.0 certificate.
