According to the guidance of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT), 10th grade admitted students must carry out online enrollment confirmation from 3:00 PM on July 2nd to before 5:00 PM on July 15th. After online confirmation, students must complete enrollment procedures directly at the selected high school.
Thus, after 5 pm today, in case students do not confirm enrollment or have confirmed online but do not complete enrollment procedures on time, candidates will be removed from the list of admitted students.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year, each student will only be admitted to one aspiration. Candidates who are admitted to which school will enroll at that school. The Department does not resolve cases of requesting aspiration changes after the enrollment results have been announced.
The end of the enrollment confirmation period is the basis for public high schools to review the actual number of enrolled students and report additional recruitment needs. On that basis, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will consider and guide.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that supplementary enrollment will only be considered after having actual enrollment data and based on the remaining quotas of public high schools.
The supplementary admission category applies to students who have participated in the 10th grade public school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year but have not been admitted to any registered aspirations.
Previously, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training noted that some students who were admitted to nguyện vọng 2 or 3 but were not satisfied with the results had a mentality of waiting for the supplementary enrollment to find opportunities to enter the desired school. The Department affirmed that this is a misunderstanding of regulations and potentially risky.
This year, the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City took place in two days, June 1 and 2, with more than 151,000 candidates participating.
