According to the instructions of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province, schools in the old Khanh Hoa area used paper documents; schools in the old Ninh Thuan area used PDFs.
Some secondary schools in disadvantaged areas are provided with free documents for students.
The Department of Education and Training requires schools to organize training and instruct teachers to adjust the content and teaching methods.
Teachers need to proactively review, update, and flexibly use documents according to the cultural, social, and geographical characteristics of the new administrative unit after the arrangement.
Some contents that need to be adjusted include: administrative maps of 34 provinces and cities nationwide; administrative maps of 65 communes, wards, and special zones of Khanh Hoa province; changes in boundaries affecting natural data; socio-economic indexes in various fields.
At the same time, the Department of Education and Training will coordinate with experts, scientists and experienced teachers to develop a comprehensive program of local educational materials that is unified for the whole province, applicable from grades 1 to 12.
This work includes reviewing and advising the Provincial People's Committee on compilation, appraisal, printing and distribution according to regulations; selecting, integrating and adjusting content to suit new realities.
On that basis, Khanh Hoa province will complete the local education content framework for each level of education, ensuring inheritance and development.
Currently, at the primary level, local educational content is integrated into experiential activities and subjects. For junior high school and high school, this content is integrated or designed into topics in Literature, History, and Geography.
This is a mandatory content from grades 1 to 12, with a duration of 35 periods/school year.
