Binh Dong Primary School started construction in May 2024, completed after 14 months of construction with main items including: 3 rows of 3-storey buildings including 38 classrooms, 4 department rooms, 14 functional rooms and auxiliary items such as parking lot, security house, connecting corridor, tree system, fire pumping station...
The school meets the learning and training needs of 1,300 students in the area. With an area of over 1.2 hectares, Binh Dong Primary School is built to meet national standards and development orientation according to the high-quality school model of Van Tuong commune in particular and Quang Ngai province in general.
The project is considered one of the most beautiful and modern schools in Quang Ngai province, put into use before the new school year 2025-2026.
The project is sponsored by Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company in the form of hand-over keys with a total investment of 42 billion VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Van Ha - Director of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company said that the Group considers Quang Ngai a strategic investment area and allocates a large budget for social security activities, bringing practical and long-term values to the local community".

This school and many other projects bearing the mark of Hoa Phat contribute to modernizing the infrastructure of education, healthcare and transportation around the area where the project is located.
Previously, Hoa Phat also spent more than 5 billion VND to support the renovation of facilities for Binh Dong Secondary School and Kindergarten 18.3. Up to now, Hoa Phat has spent 175 billion VND to implement practical social security activities in Quang Ngai province, focusing on 4 groups: Education - health - transportation - community.
