And there is also no school considering disciplining groups of students who post information on social networks.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Gam (66 years old) - the school's security guard - reported the incident that: At noon on March 18, he was invited by a young man to go to the school gate to buy a dog. The dog was tied and muzzled at this time, left in a bag. Mr. Gam agreed to buy it for 1 million VND and intended to take it home.
After that, because he was on duty and did not have the convenience to bring the dog home, Mr. Gam took the dog out of the bag and left it on the car park.
At around 3:00 p.m. the same day, a group of students after school gathered around to watch the dogs, some of them took their phones to film and take pictures. Mr. Gam also did not think much. After that, he took the dog to a dog meat restaurant on Hoang Quoc Viet Street to ask the restaurant to help make meat, but the restaurant owner said he was busy and would make meat later tomorrow.
By evening, the school's leaders told him that the image of the dog with its hands and feet bound and its mouth had been posted on social media, many people attacked the school, including a person claiming to be the owner of the lost dog who called to claim the dog.
After that, a young man came to the school to claim the dog, Mr. Gam and this person went to the restaurant to claim the dog, but at that time the restaurant had closed. He also called the restaurant owner to ask for no more dog meat and had an appointment to come back to get the dog early tomorrow morning. While going to the restaurant, he saw some young men and women coming to the restaurant to ask about the dogs.
Early the next morning, two women also came to claim to be dog owners. He also went to the restaurant with the two people and was told by the restaurant owner that the dog had been taken away by a young man claiming to be the owner...
After much noise, at noon on March 20, the woman who owned the dog informed the school and Mr. Gam, the young man who brought the dog, was the nephew of the dog owner. Currently, the dog is safe and is in the animal rescue area.
"I didn't think the incident would be so regrettable. I have learned from the school's experience and also have a report sent to the ward police. I also went to the dog owner's house to discuss the situation that I bought it from that young man but did not know that it was her dog and she sympathized with it" - Mr. Gam said.
The image of a dog tied up and muzzled from the school bus station until being taken to the slaughterhouse was followed, filmed and posted on social media by a group of students, attracting many comments. Not stopping there, in a screenshot message believed to be from the Kien An High School Union, there were opinions criticizing a group of students who posted information on social media that caused the school to be attacked. Some information even said that the teacher would discipline this group of students made the public even more angry, saying that the school did not handle the incident but instead turned out to bully the students.
Talking to reporters, the school's leadership representative said: After asking the school's security guards to report the incident, the school also reported the incident to the ward police. There is absolutely no disciplinary action against students for posting information on social networks.
