On March 25, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province informed that the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city has just issued a document responding to the incident in which parents accused a teacher of beating and torturing many students.
According to the response document of the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city, the incident occurred in class 5D, Ly Tu Trong Primary School (Buon Ma Thuot city) headed by Ms. B.T.T.X. Ms. X's inappropriate behavior towards students.
After the incident, the City People's Committee issued a decision to administratively sanction Ms. X with a fine of 3.75 million VND.
At the same time, Ms. X had a report and a self-criticism to admit the violations.
Ly Tu Trong Primary School has temporarily suspended Ms. X from teaching. The school held a review meeting to review the level of violation, and established a Disciplinary Council to consider disciplining Ms. X.
On March 17, Ly Tu Trong Primary School issued a disciplinary decision in the form of a reprimand against Ms. X.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, images appeared on social networks suggesting that a 5th grade teacher (in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province) had beaten and tortured many students in the class at the above school.
The parents of the students said that the incident had happened a long time ago, but the students did not dare to say it because the teacher threatened that if she said it, they would keep it in class.
