On March 31, the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province said that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the enrollment plan for ethnic minority boarding schools, enrollment in grade 10 high schools in the 2026 - 2027 school year in the province.
Accordingly, enrollment in grade 10 of non-specialized high schools is carried out in 2 methods: admission based on aspirations and admission based on area.
For border areas, in order to facilitate geographical distance, students are allowed to register their aspirations for schools near their place of residence (if needed), in addition to schools according to zoning.
Secondary school graduates in the province in the 2025-2026 school year register for online enrollment at the school where they are studying in grade 9. Free candidates submit applications at the high school to register for nguyện vọng 1 admission.
Registration period is from May 25 to 30, 2026 in online form. Admission period is from July 15 to 24, 2026; completion before July 31, 2026.
For non-public schools, continuing education centers, vocational education and continuing education centers, enrollment is carried out after public schools complete admission consideration and complete it before August 31, 2026.
The admission score is calculated by the total converted score of secondary school years plus priority and encouragement points (if any). Admission is carried out from highest to lowest until the quota is met; in case of equal points at the final quota, admission will be considered in priority order.
For specialized high schools, each student is allowed to register for a maximum of 2 specialized subjects at the same school; and register a maximum of 2 aspirations for non-specialized schools.
Candidates take 3 common subjects including Math, Literature, English (non-specialized) and specialized subjects. Registration time is from May 25 to 29, 2026; the exam takes place from July 2 to 4, 2026.
The admission score to specialized schools is the total score of the Literature, Math, English and specialized subject exams.
For ethnic minority boarding schools, enrollment is carried out according to the admission method. Admission is carried out in the following order: students who are directly admitted, then considered according to scores from high to low until the quota is reached; in case of equal scores, admission will be considered according to priority order.
In the 2025-2026 school year, the whole province has 54,810 9th grade students. The enrollment quota for public 10th grade is 44,898 students, reaching a rate of 81.92%. In which, high schools enroll 42,573 students; specialized high schools 1,295 students; ethnic minority boarding schools 1,030 students.
The Provincial People's Committee requests that enrollment be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; ensuring accuracy, fairness, objectivity, safety, seriousness and confidentiality. At the same time, publicize the plan, targets, time and enrollment method according to regulations.
