Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just issued an order to urgently build works for the project of Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School for border communes, phase 2.
According to the decision, Lang Son Provincial Police were assigned to implement this project.
The project is expected to be implemented in the period 2026 - 2027, in order to be completed and handed over in time for the 2027 - 2028 school year.
7 schools were built in Ba Son, Cao Loc, Dong Dang, Hoang Van Thu, Thuy Hung, Quoc Viet and Khang Chien communes. These are all border areas of Lang Son province.
Each school has a scale of 20 to 40 classes. The main items include classrooms, dormitories, dining rooms, technical infrastructure and synchronous auxiliary works, serving the learning and accommodation needs of students in border areas.
The total estimated investment is more than 2, 126 billion VND, from the central budget, local budget and other legal capital sources.
Lang Son Provincial People's Committee requests schools to be built completely, synchronously, in the direction of meeting national standards. The project must meet the requirements of teaching and learning in the new situation, in line with the socio-economic development orientation of the locality.

Schools are also oriented to have modern classroom systems, functional areas, advanced teaching equipment, and complete technical infrastructure.
The architectural structure needs to be modern but still retain local identity, have long-term use value, and have reasonable investment costs.
According to the urgent construction order, Lang Son Provincial Police must develop a master plan and detailed plan for each school, from commencement to completion.
The preparation, appraisal, and approval of the feasibility study report and construction drawing design must be completed within 3 months from the date of issuance of the order.
The agency assigned to implement the project is responsible for selecting contractors, managing construction progress and quality according to regulations.
The Provincial People's Committee requests that the implementation process must be strictly inspected and supervised before, during and after construction, to prevent corruption, losses, waste, and negativity.
Lang Son Provincial Police are also assigned to coordinate with the authorities of 7 communes where the project is implemented during the implementation process; ensuring labor safety during construction.
After completion, the investor must organize the acceptance of the project, prepare a completion dossier, submit it to specialized agencies for inspection of acceptance work and carry out finalization according to regulations.
The Departments of Finance, Construction, Agriculture and Environment are assigned to coordinate according to their functions, participate in project implementation, and ensure progress and quality.
The construction of a multi-level boarding school system in border communes is expected to improve learning and living conditions for students in border areas, especially children of ethnic minorities, remote and isolated areas.
