The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just sent a document to units and schools in the city to announce the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays in 2025 of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
Accordingly, officials, civil servants, and employees of the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Education and Training of districts, towns, and officials, teachers, employees, and students of kindergartens, primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education, and the Hanoi School for Training Education Officials will have a 1-day New Year holiday in 2025 (Wednesday, January 1, 2025).
For the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, cadres, teachers, employees, and students of the Hanoi Education and Training sector will have 9 consecutive days off, from Saturday, January 25, 2025 to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie from December 26, Giap Thin year to January 5, At Ty year).
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training noted that units must thoroughly grasp and seriously and fully implement documents and instructions from the Central and City Government on organizing activities for the 2025 New Year and the 2025 Lunar New Year.
Schools shall specifically announce the Tet holiday schedule to all staff, teachers, employees and students of the school; strengthen propaganda and education for students to practice civilized lifestyle, maintain social order and safety, traffic safety, strictly implement regulations on management and use of fireworks; and prevent and avoid social evils.
Along with that, strictly implement the work of assigning duty and protecting agencies and schools during Tet holidays; closely coordinate with local police to take necessary measures to ensure absolute safety of facilities, equipment, fire prevention and fighting... at the unit.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training also requested that, based on actual conditions, units pay attention to and take care of the material and spiritual lives of cadres, teachers, employees and students; carefully organize visits and assistance for cadres, teachers, families under preferential policies, and families in difficult circumstances so that everyone has the conditions to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet in a healthy, safe and economical manner.
