Pursuant to Article 8 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BGDDT, it is stipulated as follows:
Officials appointed to the professional titles of preschool teachers specified in this Circular shall apply the corresponding salary table issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 of the Government on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces, specifically as follows:
Preschool teachers grade III, code V.07.02.26, are subject to the salary coefficient of type A0 civil servants, from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89;
Preschool teachers grade II, code V.07.02.25, are subject to the salary coefficient of type A1 civil servants, from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;
Preschool teachers grade I, code V.07.02.24, are subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants type A2, group A2.2, from salary coefficient 4.0 to salary coefficient 6.38.
The salary arrangement when appointed to a professional title rank is implemented according to the instructions in Clause 1, Section II of Circular No. 02/2007/TT-BNV dated May 25, 2007 of the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding salary arrangement when upgrading, transferring ranks, transferring types of civil servants and public employees and according to current regulations of law. When implementing the new salary policy, the conversion to the new salary will be implemented according to Government regulations.
Thus, preschool teachers have the highest salary coefficient of 6.38.
According to Article 3 of Circular 07/2024/TT-BNV, the salary of preschool teachers who are civil servants is currently calculated by the following formula:
Salary = Basic salary x Salary coefficient.
Pursuant to Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the basic salary is stipulated as follows:
Basic salary
The basic salary is used as the basis:
a) Calculating salary levels in salary tables, allowances and implementing other regimes according to the provisions of law for subjects specified in Article 2 of this Decree;
b) Calculating operating expenses and living expenses according to the provisions of law;
c) Calculate deductions and benefits according to the basic salary level.
The basic salary from July 1, 2024 is VND 2,340,000 million/month.
Thus, the highest salary for preschool teachers is 14,929,200 VND (nearly 15,000,000 VND).
Note: The above salary does not include accompanying allowances and subsidies (if any).
