According to the plan, tomorrow (June 23), the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Ho Chi Minh City will announce the benchmark scores and exam scores of more than 4,800 candidates participating in the survey for grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School in 2025.
After knowing the exam scores, parents should submit an appeal before 4:30 p.m. on June 25 (if needed). The review results are expected to be announced on June 29.
Before 4:30 p.m. on June 28, admitted students will submit their application. After the prescribed time expires, if students do not submit their application, the school will remove their name from the admission list.
Admitted students must submit all necessary documents for admission, including primary school digital transcripts and personal identification codes.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training noted that if after submitting all the entrance documents, the school discovers errors in the regulations or is not eligible for admission, students will be eliminated from the school's student list.
Students who do not pass the entrance exam will still be admitted to grade 6 according to the regulations of the District Admissions Steering Committee.
This year, the survey for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School has 4,851 candidates registered to take the exam. The school's enrollment target is 350 6th grade students. Thus, the average admission rate is 1/14 (ie 1 in 14 students will be admitted).
The survey consists of 2 parts.
Test part: 20 test questions (taken within 30 minutes).
The essay section (taken in 60 minutes) consists of 3 parts: English proficiency survey (listening, reading comprehension, writing), students doing research in English; Survey of Mathematical and logical thinking proficiency, students doing research in Vietnamese; Survey of reading comprehension and writing proficiency, students doing research in Vietnamese.
