On March 3, in Song Cau ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province organized a meeting with voters with candidates for the 16th National Assembly in constituency No. 1.
The conference was held directly with the participation of 260 voters in Song Cau ward, and at the same time connected online to voters in 4 communes: Xuan Dai, Xuan Tho, Xuan Loc and Xuan Canh.
At the conference, 5 candidates presented their action programs if elected as National Assembly deputies.

The candidates include: Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies; Mr. Nguyen Phuong Dai Nguyen - Head of the Training Department of Tay Nguyen University; Mr. Bui Thanh Toan - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Lak province.
The female candidates include: Ms. Pham Thi Them - Standing Deputy Head of the Farmers' Affairs Committee (Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province); Ms. Le Dao An Xuan - Deputy Head of the full-time delegation of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Lak province.
The candidates committed to focusing on participating in law-making, strengthening supervision, reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the people to the parliament; contributing to perfecting policies and promoting local socio-economic development.
After listening to the action program, many voters expressed their desire that candidates, if elected, pay more attention to policies to develop the marine economy, especially to find a sustainable "path" for lobsters.
According to reports, after the natural disaster at the end of 2025, thousands of households in the area were heavily affected, and many aquaculture households faced difficulties in capital and output.
Mr. Tran Van Tiem (Long Hai Bac residential group, Song Cau ward) requested delegates, when participating in the National Assembly, to pay attention to promoting e-commerce development policies, building transparent and stable output for local lobster products.

Recording opinions in 5 communes and wards, candidates affirmed that if elected, they will always listen to and fully synthesize the thoughts and aspirations of voters to convey to the parliament.
At the same time, it is proposed to build sustainable development mechanisms and policies not only for aquaculture farmers but also to harmoniously exploit the strengths of the locality in the green development stage.
Mr. Tran Cong Hoan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Song Cau ward - said that the election preparation work in the locality has been thoroughly deployed; the listing of candidates for National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels has been completed according to regulations.
Neighborhood groups are reviewing and issuing voter cards to each household, striving for 100% of voters throughout the ward to participate in the election.

The Song Cau area has about 50% of voters who are fishermen engaged in fishing and seafood exploitation, so propaganda and mobilization work is built to suit the specific characteristics of the sea area.
In addition to listing candidates, residential groups also conduct direct propaganda at boats and rafts of fishermen; and prepare ballot boxes to ensure that all eligible citizens have the right to vote.
According to Mr. Hoan, in 2025, Song Cau ward is one of the localities heavily affected by natural disasters and storms; especially lobster farming households suffered heavy losses.
Although the locality has actively encouraged and supported people to stabilize production, many voters still send their expectations to the candidates regarding the proposal to the Central Government and the province to consider debt freezing and debt extension policies.
At the same time, there should be a timely loan support mechanism for fishermen and aquaculture households to resume production, contributing to the recovery and development of the local economy.
