Hanoi - In the English exam on the afternoon of June 7, a candidate was suspended for bringing a phone into the exam room.

On the afternoon of June 7, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training reported on the organization of the English exam in the afternoon of the same day.

Accordingly, in the English exam, 102,434/102,860 candidates took the exam, reaching a rate of 99.59%; there were 426 candidates absent from the exam.

At 201 exam locations in the city, there were no officials who considered the exam violating the regulations; there was 1 candidate who violated the exam regulations when bringing a phone into the exam room.

In addition, there are 12 candidates who need support in taking the exam due to health problems and need medical support.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, as of 3:00 p.m. on June 7, the exam locations in the city were taking place normally, safely, seriously, and in accordance with the exam regulations.

The public 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi took place over two days, June 7-8, with nearly 103,000 candidates, the largest in the country.

Today (6.), the contestants completed the Literature exam in the morning and English in the afternoon.

Tomorrow morning (6. 8), students will take a Math exam, with a time of 120 minutes.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, at least 64% of students have a place to study, equivalent to more than 81,000 students. The city has more than 200 exam locations, with about 16,000 teachers participating.

Admission scores for non-professional schools are a total of three subjects, not multiplied by coefficients; for specialized schools, the total is four subjects, with professional subjects having a coefficient of two.

It is expected that around July 4-6, the Department will simultaneously announce the exam scores and the benchmark scores for grade 10. Candidates who are admitted are confirmed to enter school from July 10 to 12.
