These 495 students still have the opportunity to complete the procedures to take the exam tomorrow morning, before starting the first exam, Literature. If absent, students are determined to have dropped the 10th grade exam, even though they have registered.

In total, there are 11 candidates who need support to take the exam due to health problems and medical support.
The number of cadres, teachers and staff present is 15,168/15,173, reaching a rate of 99.97%. The staff who are absent from the exam have been arranged with replacement reserve teachers to ensure compliance with the regulations.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that all exam locations are ready with facilities and a generator is prepared to prevent incidents. The Department also directed to strengthen measures to ensure security and safety at the exam locations (child rooms, testing cabinets, surveillance camera systems, etc.), storage of candidates' belongings, food safety, and traffic flow.
The public 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi took place over two days, June 7-8, with nearly 103,000 candidates, the largest in the country. According to the Department of Education and Training, at least 64% of students have a place to study, equivalent to more than 81,000 students. The city has more than 200 exam locations, with about 16,000 teachers participating.
Candidates take the exam in three subjects, including Math, Literature and Foreign Language. Students taking the specialized school exam will take an additional specialized exam on June 9. Admission scores for non-professional schools are a total of three subjects, not multiplied by coefficients; for specialized schools, the total is four subjects, with professional subjects having a coefficient of two.
It is expected that around July 4-6, the Department will simultaneously announce the exam scores and the benchmark scores for grade 10. Candidates who are admitted are confirmed to enter school from July 10 to 12.
