Outside the school gate, many parents are waiting in the sun for their children to complete the first exam subject of the 10th grade high school exam for the 2025-2026 school year.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lam (My Dinh, Hanoi) waited for her child for 2 hours at the school gate and hoped her child would do a good job. She said that this afternoon she will continue to accompany her child in the Foreign Language exam.
"I hope that if I don't multiply the coefficient, my child will get a score of about 25-26 points" - Ms. Lam said.
Standing outside the exam score, Ms. Le Thi Ha (40 years old, My Dinh, Nam Tu Liem) said she was quite worried. However, when she saw her child leave the competition room with a radiant face, she felt somewhat more secure.
"Hopefully my child will achieve 3 points of 9" - Ms. Ha said.
Candidate Ha Khanh Linh (Mai Dich Secondary School) said that this year's Literature exam is close to what Linh herself predicted. The girl wrote 8 pages, and only had 5 minutes left to check.
Nguyen Hoang Mai Chi (My Dinh 1 Secondary School) said that the exam questions are quite similar to the survey questions, with an estimated completion rate of about 80%.
Chi's mother, Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa, shared that her parents tried not to put pressure on their children, to keep their children as comfortable as possible. Hopefully he will have good results in this exam.
Talking to Lao Dong, Secretary of the My Dinh High School Youth Union Phan Thi Thuy Ngoc said that this morning, candidates took the Literature exam, but many students brought Math learning tools such as compact, eke, and handheld computers.
Many learning tools and student cards were left behind by some candidates at the My Dinh High School exam scores after finishing the Literature exam.
"We have collected the school equipment and student cards for the students to forget and will send forces to return the students' belongings" - Ms. Ngoc said.
This year, My Dinh High School's exam score has a total of 528 candidates, arranged with 22 exam rooms and 1 reserve room.
Nearly 140 volunteers were mobilized at this test site to support candidates, helping them feel more confident to enter the important exam.
In the 2025-2026 public 10th grade exam, Hanoi will arrange 201 official exam locations with more than 4,400 exam rooms, along with a system of reserve exam locations in districts, towns and cities, ready to respond to unexpected situations such as bad weather, power outages or other objective factors.
This afternoon, candidates will enter the second exam subject, Foreign Language, with a time of 60 minutes.
