Border provinces such as Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang are focusing manpower and machinery to complete inter-level boarding schools in border communes, in time for inauguration and commissioning on the occasion of the opening of the 2026-2027 school year.
In parallel with the progress, requirements for quality, safety and operating conditions are set at each project.
According to Official Dispatch 50/CD-TTg dated July 20, 2026, the Prime Minister requested to complete phase 1 schools before August 30, inaugurate on September 5 and put them into use immediately in the new school year.


Localities are required to increase manpower, machinery, and organize continuous construction to compensate for progress, but must ensure labor safety, project safety, complete acceptance and only put into use items that meet quality requirements.
In Dien Bien, the province is accelerating the progress to inaugurate inter-level boarding schools in border communes.
Information from the Dien Bien Provincial Electronic Information Portal, in the most recent inspection, 9 projects started in 2025 basically achieved the set progress, striving to be completed in time for the new school year.
The province requests the investor and contractor to increase manpower and equipment, organize "3 shifts, 4 teams" construction, and complete on schedule.
By the end of July, Thanh Nua Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School reached about 98% of the volume.


Schools in Sam Mun, Thanh Yen, Nam Ke, Muong Nha basically ensure progress; some other projects continue to be required to focus resources to complete according to the plan.
In Na Bung, the province requested units to clearly identify responsibilities and urgently remove obstacles for the project to be put into use.
At the same time, the locality is required to prepare a plan to organize learning if the school does not have sufficient conditions to welcome students on time, ensuring no interruption of learning.
Si Pa Phin School has been completed and inaugurated on January 31, 2026 after more than 5 months of both design and construction, with a scale to serve more than 1,000 students.
In Son La, 13 schools in border communes are being focused on completion.

According to information from the Provincial People's Committee, the construction volume of schools reached from 73.5% to 98%. The investor and contractor are required to increase manpower, machinery, and organize multi-shift construction.
In the 2026-2027 school year, 13 schools are expected to serve about 13,300 students, of which more than 12,000 students are boarding students.
Along with construction, the locality is preparing equipment and conditions to organize teaching and accommodation.
In Lai Chau, 5 schools started construction in 2025 are focused on completing in August. The province requests the investor to ensure the progress and quality of the project.
In Cao Bang, 11 schools are being deployed in the 100-day and night peak campaign. Tra Linh Primary and Secondary Boarding School has been handed over and test-operated; the remaining projects continue to accelerate to be completed according to plan.

In Tuyen Quang, 5 schools in border communes started construction from the end of 2025 and are being completed in August, while preparing conditions for facilities, staff and organization to operate from the 2026-2027 school year.
The 30.8 mark is approaching, but the quality requirements are placed in parallel with the progress.
For boarding schools, quality control is not only in the classroom area but also includes student dormitories, dining rooms, kitchens, electricity, water, fire prevention and fighting, toilets and technical infrastructure items.
Works with high volumes are focused on completion and acceptance; slow projects continue to be supplemented with resources and obstacles removed.
