The ratio of criteria is determined according to actual data from the last three years to ensure the consistency between input and training quality. Students with outstanding achievements in specialized schools and talents are given priority points.
According to Ho Chi Minh City National University, this method will reduce the number of methods, limit the situation of causing discomfort to candidates and create consistency in input quality assessment.
Thus, the enrollment target in 2026 of the group of schools under Ho Chi Minh City National University will be mainly by this integrated consideration method.
In recent years, this method of combining many criteria has been applied by the University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City National University will have 24,549 students enrolled, reaching a rate of 97.57%. In which, the competency assessment method plays a core role, accounting for 56.32% of the total number of candidates enrolled.
