The Ho Chi Minh City National University Trade Union has just organized a "Return to the source" program for 30 union officials at all levels in Quang Tri province.
During the activity program, the delegation had activities to exchange experiences in trade union work, offer incense in memory at Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial Site and some other historical and revolutionary relics.
In particular, union officials visited and presented gifts of gratitude to 37 people who contributed to the revolution and the martyrs' relatives in Quang Tri with a total cost of 37 million VND (each gift worth 1 million VND, including 800,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 200,000 VND). The funding was taken from the Ho Chi Minh City National University Trade Union's budget and the contributions of the members of the delegation.
The "Toward the Source" campaign has contributed to fostering professional skills, improving the capacity of trade union officials and helping the grassroots trade union officials of Ho Chi Minh City National University better understand the revolutionary tradition, fostering a spirit of patriotism and responsibility to society.
