Teachers and students in Ho Chi Minh City send their expectations for a stable new year, with more opportunities for study, career and life.

Sharing his expectations for the new year, Mr. Cao Duc Khoa - Principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School (Ben Thanh ward) said that education is undergoing positive changes, increasingly paying attention to the rights of students.

According to him, moving towards using a unified set of textbooks will contribute to reducing pressure on parents, while creating stability in teaching and learning.

In addition, policies such as tuition fee exemption and support for students in difficult circumstances are also expected to continue to be effectively implemented in 2026.

Sharing the same expectation, Mr. Dinh Phu Cuong - Principal of Nguyen Van Luong Secondary School (Binh Phu ward) said that in 2025 there have been many policies to improve teachers' lives. He expressed his wish that in the new year, the teaching staff will continue to be maintained stably.

When the lives and incomes of teachers are improved, teachers will feel secure in their work, thereby improving the quality of teaching," Mr. Cuong said, while wishing for closer coordination between parents and schools in accompanying students.

From a student's perspective, Nguyen Le Mai Anh, a final year student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), said that Tet this year will combine fun and work.

I study and work in the field of media, so Tet is a quite busy time. Besides work, I also take advantage of the Tet atmosphere of the city, going to Nguyen Hue Flower Street, Ben Thanh Market or strolling the streets on New Year's Eve," Mai Anh shared.

As a student about to graduate, Mai Anh expressed her biggest hope in 2026 is to soon find a stable job, in the right profession, capable of taking care of herself and supporting her family.

They expect Ho Chi Minh City to continue to be a dynamic environment, creating many job opportunities, internships and career development for new graduates.

From teachers to students, the expectations in the new year 2026 are all aimed at stability, sustainability and more opportunities, contributing to creating a positive education - labor picture for Ho Chi Minh City in the coming period.
