On August 23, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that relevant units are urgently completing Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary Schools in border and mountainous areas, ensuring sufficient conditions to welcome students in the 2026 - 2027 school year.
The Management Board of Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Projects of Nghe An province has requested contractors to mobilize maximum manpower, machinery, and vehicles, and organize continuous construction to accelerate progress. Units must prioritize items directly serving students' studies, accommodation, and living, while ensuring project quality and progress according to regulations.

According to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, at 10 Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary Schools in border communes in phase 1, enrollment work has reached over 98% of the plan. Communes with schools in phase 1 have issued decisions to establish schools, consolidate management staff and basically arrange teachers.
Schools are also completing education plans, boarding student management plans and conditions to serve the new school year.
According to the plan, all 10 schools in phase 1 are expected to hold the opening ceremony of the 2026 - 2027 school year at the new campus. However, at some projects, items such as classrooms, schoolyards, kitchens, dining rooms, dormitories, electricity and water systems still need to continue to accelerate progress so that teaching can be organized immediately after the opening ceremony.
Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Thanh requested the Project Management Board to urge the contractor to accelerate construction, focusing on completing essential items first. Sectors and localities must coordinate to develop plans to bring students to school safely.

Depending on actual conditions, each school must specifically determine the number of students, secondary school classes can organize classes at the new facility immediately after the opening ceremony, and at the same time prepare accommodation and living plans for boarding students.
The Nghe An Department of Education and Training has organized inspection teams to work in areas where schools are being implemented, including Anh Son and Na Ngoi communes, to review the construction progress as well as the conditions for organizing the new school year.
For 11 schools in phase 2, the People's Committee of Nghe An province requests localities to soon complete the payment of site clearance costs and accelerate investment procedures. The implementation process must ensure synchronous, modern but economical works, and strive to put schools into operation soon.
