Mr. Hoang Duc Long - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Hanoi High-Tech College - said that the semiconductor industry is considered one of the fields with great development potential. Along with the expansion of investment by domestic and foreign enterprises, the demand for recruiting engineers and high-quality human resources in the field of semiconductor microchip design and production is increasing, opening up many job opportunities.
According to Mr. Long, the presence of large technology corporations in Vietnam not only creates more jobs but also helps learners have the opportunity to access modern production environments, new technologies and international standard working processes.
Traditional field "thirsty" for human resources
Many traditional fields are also facing a large demand for high-quality human resources, especially in the context of digital transformation and innovation in management methods.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Phuong - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam National University of Agriculture - said that land management is still an important field for socio-economic development. The process of digitizing land data and modernizing resource management is posing increasingly high requirements for the quality of human resources.
According to the Academy's survey results, more than 97% of graduates after 12 months have jobs. This is considered proof of the stable recruitment demand of the market for this field.
To improve the ability to meet practical requirements, many training institutions have expanded cooperation with businesses and employers, creating conditions for students to learn in association with practice, gradually narrowing the gap between training and market demand.
Potentially rich field
Information and communication technology continues to be a group of industries that are assessed to have much room for development as the demand for hiring high-quality human resources from businesses is constantly increasing.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Viet Vu - Head of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communications, CMC University - said that many students of the school have been actively recruited by businesses right before graduation. This shows that the demand of the labor market for this industry group is still very large.
However, job opportunities do not only depend on degrees or professional knowledge. In the context of rapid technological changes, students need to proactively equip themselves with self-study skills, foreign languages, communication skills and adaptability to the business environment. These are important factors to help learners improve their competitiveness and be ready to meet the requirements of employers.
According to experts, regardless of choosing to study in which field, learners also need to put their adaptive ability and lifelong learning as a foundation. When technology trends and human resource needs are constantly changing, proactively updating knowledge and skills will determine the ability to seize job opportunities in the new stage.
