Expected benchmark scores from 22 - 23.5 high school graduation points
After knowing the high school graduation exam scores, many candidates begin to consider between the benchmark score and job opportunities when choosing a major.
Among them, majors belonging to the Faculty of Educational Science and Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology are being explored by many candidates because the benchmark scores in recent years are not too high.
Last year, the benchmark score for the Education Technology major was 23.3 points, and for the Education Management major was 23.2 points. Especially for the Industrial Psychology and Organization major, the first enrollment is from 2026.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology on July 3rd issued a benchmark score forecast for 68 training majors.
For 3 training majors under the Faculty of Educational Science and Technology, the benchmark score is forecast to be from 22 - 23.5 high school graduation points; 51 - 55 test scores for thinking assessment (TSA).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Hoc - Head of the Faculty of Educational Science and Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, said that currently, job opportunities for students of the Faculty of Educational Science and Technology are very wide open because all three training majors are associated with the needs of digital transformation, human resource development and education innovation.
For the Education Technology major (admission code ED2), students can work in EdTech businesses, business training departments, schools, training centers or technology companies with positions such as digital learning design, e-learning development, learning experience design, AI application in education, digital learning system management and educational product development.
For the Education Management major (admission code ED3), students can become specialists in training management, testing, quality assurance, digital transformation of education, education project management or work at schools, management agencies, businesses and educational institutions at home and abroad.
With the Department of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (ED5), students can hold positions in human resources management, recruitment, training and talent development, organizational development, career counseling, corporate culture building and mental health care for employees.
The common point of all three majors is that students not only work in the field of education but also have opportunities at businesses, technology corporations, consulting organizations, research units and many other fields that have a very large demand for high-quality human resources in the AI and digital transformation era" - Mr. Hoc analyzed.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Hoc said that the expected benchmark score is forecast information to support candidates to refer to when registering their aspirations. The official benchmark score is only determined after the completion of the admission process, and is not the basis for deciding whether or not to register their aspirations.
According to him, the benchmark score is affected by many factors such as the number of aspirations, score distribution and the method of allocating aspirations of candidates, so it does not reflect the quality of training or career opportunities of the major.
Therefore, he advises candidates if they reach the quality assurance threshold of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and really love and are suitable for the major, then boldly register their aspirations. Conversely, if you have high scores, do not be afraid when you see that the benchmark scores of these majors are not too high.
In fact, students of the faculty have many job opportunities at technology companies, large corporations, schools and organizations at home and abroad, especially in the fields of AI, digital transformation of education and human resource development.
