Khanh Hoa - The Department of Education and Training has just announced the admission score for grade 10 with many developments that surprised many parents and students.

On the afternoon of July 4, the Department of Education and Training announced the admission scores for grade 10 of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Nam Nha Trang Ward) and 28 public high schools in the area, school year 2025 - 2026.

Accordingly, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted has a benchmark score ranging from 35.75 to 44 points depending on the major.

Of which, the highest is Physics with 44 points, the lowest is Biology with 35.75 points. This is a year with a relatively high entrance score to Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted compared to previous years.

For 24 high schools admitted under the admission method, the school with the highest admission score (expectation 1) is Ha Huy Tap High School (Tay Nha Trang Ward) with 16.25 points and the school with the lowest admission score is Nguyen Du High School (Bac Ninh Hoa Commune) with 5 points.

Pham Van Dong High School (Nha Trang Ward) takes 16 points, Hoang Van Thu High School (Bac Nha Trang Ward) takes 15.25 points.

These are schools with the number of students registering for the winter entrance exam. However, this year is among the top schools with high entrance scores. This is another point in the 10th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Khanh Hoa.

What surprised many students and parents in Khanh Hoa when the admission scores for grade 10 in high schools are considered to be among the top announced.

Most notably, the admission score to Ly Tu Trong High School (Nha Trang Ward) this year is only 9 points; Nguyen Van Troi High School (Nha Trang Ward) 11.5 points; Nguyen Trai High School (Ninh Hoa Ward) 8.5 points.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (residing in Nam Nha Trang ward) whose child has just participated in the 10th grade exam at Ha Huy Tap high school shared: "My child wants to register to take the exam to Ly Tu Trong high school but is worried about not being able to compete, so he changed his wish to take the Ha Huy Tap exam".

However, Ms. Huong was surprised when the admission score to Ly Tu Trong High School this year was low, as long as each subject achieved 3 points, she passed.

According to information from schools, the low benchmark score for grade 10 admission this school year is partly due to the low registration number of students, not meeting the quota. Therefore, the lowest admission score is almost the lowest to ensure the quota of students entering the school.

Some schools have added the average conditional score for the whole year of the 3 subjects of Literature, Math, English in grade 9.

Of the 24 high schools admitted by entrance exam method, 17 schools do not consider wishes 2. There are 7 schools considering wishes 2 with admission scores ranging from 6.5 to 11.5 points.

For 4 high schools admitted by admission method in Khanh Hoa, the admission score ranges from 26 to 35 points. In particular, the admission score for students studying French (foreign language 1) is 23 points.
