Khanh Hoa updates regulations on new salary policies for businesses

Khanh Hoa - Regulations on adjusting salaries and income for social insurance contributions attract the attention of many businesses.

On July 4, the Department of Home Affairs of Khanh Hoa province held a conference to disseminate and discuss policies and laws related to labor, wages, social insurance, unemployment insurance and regulations for foreign workers working in Vietnam.

More than 200 leaders and personnel managers of enterprises in the province attended and directly discussed with competent authorities about problems arising during the implementation process at enterprises.

At the conference, representatives of the Department of Home Affairs informed about the new points of the Law on Social Insurance 2024, effective from July 1.

The representative of the Department of Home Affairs also introduced regulations related to unemployment insurance, salary adjustment levels and monthly income for social insurance contributions, as well as specific instructions on regulations for foreign workers working in Vietnam - contents that are of interest to many businesses.

The main contents of Decree No. 145/2020/ND-CP of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Labor Code related to working conditions and labor relations, along with instructions on labor safety and hygiene, are also specifically disseminated to businesses.

From July 1, 2025, Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa provinces will merge into the new Khanh Hoa province with an area of 8,555.86 km2, population of more than 2.24 million people.

The whole province has 48 communes, 16 wards, and 1 special zone. Of which, there are more than 1.1 million people of working age according to regulations.
