From May 22, provinces and cities will start organizing the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year.
On the evening of June 3, Bac Lieu was the first province to announce the 10th grade exam scores to candidates.
After that, Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Quang Tri all announced the exam scores on June 8, earlier than previously expected.
Along with announcing the exam scores, Lai Chau Department of Education and Training has just announced the expected admission standard score for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year, round 1.
This score is the total score of 3 subjects, each subject is calculated on a 10-point scale and neither subject is multiplied by a coefficient. The province's benchmark score for grade 10 ranges from 4.75 to 23.75 points.
Among non-professional public schools, Dao San High School (Phong Tho district) plans to get the lowest entrance score, only 4.75 points - meaning candidates are expected to only need to get nearly 1.6 points/subject.
5 other high schools in this province also plan to have admission scores below 10, including Quyet Thang High School (6 points), Muong Kim High School (8 points), Tan Uyen High School (8.25 points), Muong Than High School (9 points), Nam Nhon High School (9.25 points).
This benchmark score is expected before the review. Lai Chau Department of Education and Training will have an adjustment notice if it changes from the exam review results.
The Department of Education and Training of Soc Trang province has also announced the admission standard score for grade 10 high school in the province for the 2025-2026 school year.
For Hoang Dieu High School, it is 32.50 points. Soc Trang City High School 19.00 points.
The admission score to other high schools in the province also ranges from 18.00 - 21.00 points.
It is expected that this week, many provinces and cities, high schools under universities will announce exam scores and benchmarks.
