Up to this point, the whole country has about more than 90 universities announcing additional enrollment for regular university majors.
The minimum score for additional admission ranges from 14 to 26 points. Some majors have additional admission with very high minimum scores, over 24 points, such as at Hong Duc University (Thanh Hoa), and some hot majors at Thang Long University (Hanoi).
With this score, candidates taking the 2024 high school graduation exam must achieve at least 8 points/subject to be able to register for additional admission.
With Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University, many member schools of the two universities have announced additional admissions in many different ways.
The School of Business and Administration, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is recruiting 70 additional students, including 60 in the Administration and Security major; 10 students in the Business Administration and Technology major.
Candidates applying to the school must pass the preliminary round, including profile and essay evaluation; emotional intelligence (EQ) assessment. The school then considers the results of the high school graduation exam with a minimum score of 22, English score of 6/10 or English certificate equivalent to IELTS 4.5 or higher.
The International School, Vietnam National University, Hanoi also recruits 130 students for the international joint program in each of the majors Accounting and Finance; Hotel, Event and Tourism Management.
Candidates with IELTS certificate 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 72/120 and average grade point of 5 semesters (except semester II grade 12) from 8 or higher will be considered for direct admission. If based on the results of the high school graduation exam, the school considers candidates who achieve 20 points in a combination of 3 subjects, in which English is 6 or higher.
In addition, candidates can register for transcript review if they have an average score of 5 semesters of at least 6.5-7, with a score of 7 in Foreign Language (or an English certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.5).
Vietnam-Japan University - Vietnam National University, Hanoi also announced additional admissions by the following admission methods: Admissions based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam; Admissions based on the results of candidates' capacity profiles (profile evaluation and interview); Admissions based on the results of the capacity assessment test for high school students organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Admissions based on the results of the capacity assessment test for high school students organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; Admissions based on the results of the SAT / ACT / A-Level standardized exams.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City also continues to recruit additional students for the 2+2 international joint program in 2024 in the following majors: Communication (majoring in Journalism), International Relations, and English Language.
The school enrolls students in 3 ways as follows: Admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam; Admission based on the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by VNU-HCM in 2024; Admission based on conditional academic records (for English Language majors).
University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announces additional admission for the UK Bachelor's program as follows: International Business - 40 positions; International Finance - 10 positions.
Foreign language entry requirements: students must have at least level 4 English proficiency according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam or equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training. Application deadline is September 10, 2024.
