The Computer Science major is considered in subject combinations with 2 compulsory subjects: Math, Physics and one remaining subject in Chemistry, English, Business, and Technology.

Van Hien University said that in 2025, it will use 5 admission methods including: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; Admission based on high school academic results ( tu gradu); Admission based on the 2025 competency assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University; Admission combined with entrance exams for the fields of Music, Piano, Cinema, Television and Cinema and Television Technology; Direct admission according to the Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
