On May 28, the Department of Education and Training of Tien Lang district (Hai Phong) confirmed that an incident occurred in the area where a 7th grade student took poison and died.
The preliminary incident was determined: From about 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on May 23, N.T.M.T (born in 2012, residing in Tien Cuong commune, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong) took self-defense poison at his home. After 9:00 p.m., the family discovered it and took it to Vinh Bao International General Hospital for emergency treatment. At 0:30 on May 24, the family transferred the child to Hai Phong Children's Hospital for blood filtration. At around 1:00 p.m. on May 24, the family took T home and by 4:20 p.m. the same day, he died.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Principal of T.C Secondary School sent staff and teachers to visit and encourage the family, and at the same time to find out and verify information about the cause of the incident.
Teacher V.X.L - the homeroom teacher of student N.T.M.T said: On May 24, he received a call from student N.T.M.T's uncle informing him: On the afternoon of May 19, 4 students came to the house to argue and beat student N.T.M.T, the family had photos and videos recorded. Mr. V.T.L invited the 4 students involved to the school Council room to report the incident.
According to their reports, at 5:20 p.m. on May 19, the four students mentioned above went to student N.T.M.T's house to demand debt because they thought he had borrowed pen and ring from them. After that, the students argued at student T's house. When a neighbor came to remind them, the students left.
The school invited 4 students and their parents to work.
Earlier, on April 17, the parents of N.T.M.T students called the teacher to discuss the conflict between T and another student in the same class, asking the homeroom teacher to intervene and take measures to educate their children. On the morning of April 19, Mr. V.T.L called the two of them to find out the incident and reconcile. The two of them apologized to each other and reconciled before the 38 students of the class.
After that, the homeroom teacher did not receive any feedback from the two students' families or students in the class.
It is known that N.T.M.T's family has submitted a petition to the authorities to request an investigation and clarification of the incident.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Tien Lang District, immediately after receiving the report from T.C Secondary School, the Division reported directly to the leaders of the Department of Education and Training, the District People's Committee, and only the School Board of Directors coordinated with mass organizations and representatives of the parents' parents to promptly visit, encourage family, coordinate the post -care for students N.T.M.T; coordinate verification and clarification of the cause of the incident; Organize the review of collective responsibilities, individuals, teachers and students involved in the case if there is a violation ...
