Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch on deploying key tasks and solutions for the 2026 - 2027 school year and organizing educational activities after arranging public educational institutions on September 23.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to advise on the implementation of tasks for the new school year, complete coordination regulations, professional procedures and decentralization of education management in accordance with the model after arrangement.
One of the tasks that is required to focus on is to review the needs and staff structure by level, subject, each school and area. On that basis, the education sector has a plan to handle redundant personnel.
The Provincial People's Committee requests priority for transferring teachers from surplus to shortage. Management officials are arranged to return to teaching when meeting the conditions according to regulations.
Along with the transfer, the Education sector coordinates with relevant agencies to advise on the implementation of policies on early retirement, resignation, and staff streamlining.
Recruitment, reception, transfer, assignment, and inter-school and inter-level teaching plans are also implemented according to actual needs.
The Department of Education and Training is assigned to complete the dossier and report to competent authorities for consideration and supplementation of the remaining staff size.
The arrangement of personnel is carried out in conjunction with the requirement to maintain the stable operation of schools after arrangement.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested to study and evaluate the 10th grade enrollment method. In which, consider the possibility of combining entrance exams with admission consideration, reducing the number of exam subjects, ensuring compliance with regulations and having a stable roadmap.
Exams and admissions in 2027 must be organized safely, seriously, and transparently.
In addition to personnel issues, the province requests to review and cut administrative papers, meetings, reports, records, books and unnecessary contests and competitions.
Inspection activities are innovated in the direction of not incurring additional procedures for educational institutions.
