At the conference, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee focused on discussing the overall plan for arranging public preschool, general and continuing education institutions in the area.
Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Pham Dai Duong emphasized that the arrangement aims to reduce management focal points to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management, improve the quality of education and push back negativity. This is a consistent goal of the Party and State.
When implementing, it is necessary to look at it in general to thoroughly overcome the achievement disease, ensuring fairness so that students in all regions can enjoy the best quality of education after arrangement.
The Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to continue to receive contributions, carefully review and supplement to the implementation plan, in which it is necessary to specifically analyze the specific factors of each school.
The Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee also directed that the arrangement of organizational structure, personnel and structure must strictly comply with principles and regulations. At the same time, the project has a clear analysis and evaluation, ensuring publicity and transparency, based on the prescribed criteria and actual capacity.
It is necessary to do a good job of grading to select the best leadership and management staff. This is the direct responsibility of the Education and Training sector and localities to find cadres who fully meet the requirements for professional qualifications and ethical qualities.
The spirit is that after arrangement, it is necessary to aim for streamlining the apparatus, while ensuring the maintenance and improvement of the quality and efficiency of leadership, direction, and administration of schools.
The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to direct the completion of the Project and organize implementation close to reality. Because the time until the new school year is not much left, units need to urgently complete all arrangements before the new school year officially begins.
Previously, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, Meritorious Teacher Phung Quoc Lap, Deputy Director of Phu Tho Department of Education and Training, said that the unit is urgently developing a specific plan for school merger.
According to the plan, Phu Tho currently has nearly 1,900 public educational institutions with more than 1 million students. The province expects to reduce 631 out of a total of 1,852 institutions, equivalent to 34.1%.
The number of units managed by communes is expected to decrease from 1,693 to 1,110 establishments.
The arrangement is expected to create a streamlined education network, effectively use resources and improve governance quality. In which, choosing the right management staff is considered an important factor for schools after arrangement to operate stably and effectively.
