According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the two days of June 11-12, the Northeast region will be sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night; the highest temperature is commonly 30-33 degrees Celsius.
Faced with the possibility of localized thunderstorms, localities with many rivers, streams, and underground spillways in Quang Ninh have proactively reviewed students far from exam sites, who have to move through areas at risk of being affected by heavy rain.
At the Ba Che High School exam site, Ba Che commune, through review, there are 86 students in need of support. The locality has arranged free accommodation at the dormitory of Ba Che Ethnic Minority Boarding School, about 500m from the exam site.
At the Nguyen Trai High School exam site, Tien Yen commune, through review, 209 candidates are in need of support.
The locality has arranged 15 free dormitory rooms for candidates who need accommodation, and developed a plan to organize meals for candidates in need. Cases in remote areas with difficult travel will be arranged with appropriate transportation.
According to information from the Quang Ninh Provincial Exam Steering Committee, through review, the whole province has 830 students who need to be cared for and supported during the exam period.
These students are concentrated in mountainous areas, border areas, islands and places where students have to travel far to exam sites.
Localities have developed support plans for each student, each need and each focal point for implementation. In which, 652 student turns were supported with travel, trains and buses; 687 student turns were supported with meals; 358 student turns were arranged accommodation; 331 student turns were supported with funds, cash or other necessary conditions.
The 2026 high school graduation exam in Quang Ninh is organized at 39 exam sites. Among them, Ha Long ward is the area with the largest number of candidates, with 3 exam sites.
For the Van Don special zone island route area, 1 exam site is arranged on Quan Lan island; Co To special zone has an exam site right in the area, helping students not have to move to the mainland to take the exam.
Up to now, the preparation for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam in Quang Ninh province has been completed. On the afternoon of June 10, candidates came to the exam site to complete exam procedures, listen to the dissemination of regulations and correct information errors if any. The official exam sessions took place on June 11 and 12.
