On December 5, the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to organize a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of Le Duan Political School as meeting level 1.
The ceremony was attended by Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; and leaders of central and local departments and ministries.
In the process of implementing Regulation 11 of the Secretariat on building a standard political school, the unit divided into two groups of tasks, focusing on the group of tasks chaired by the school.
The school has identified the key to improving the quality of staff and lecturers with 29 key criteria, while upgrading the remaining criteria.
Many models have been effectively applied such as "5 goods", a cadre training model for Laos, a "3 activities, 1 goal" model in scientific research, a regular field trip model at the grassroots level... The school also focuses on advisory work, coordination to perfect legal corridors, regulations, and regulations to serve the goal of meeting standards.
Principal Le Cong Toan said that after the merger, the school will inherit the results of the two old units, and at the same time review and adjust solutions to suit the new context. To date, the school has completed 55/55 criteria in 6 groups of criteria, of which 13 criteria exceeded the standards.
The groups of criteria include institutions and regulations; staff and civil servants; training and fostering activities; scientific research, summarizing practices; Party school culture; facilities and finance.
In his speech, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang acknowledged the school's efforts and emphasized the need to continue to innovate and create, affirming the role of a center for training and fostering cadres, researching the theory and summarizing practical practice of Quang Tri province in the new period.
